Our dedicated team of doctors have a special interest in managing the health care of persons living with physical disabilities. In and out patient services are rendered and key areas of focus include bladder and bowel management, wound care and spasticity control

Hand clinic

We conduct a full team evaluation (orthopaedic surgery, physiotherapy and occupational therapy) of the hand function of patients with quadriplegia with special reference to the to determine if a tendon or nerve transfer could enhance arm and/or hand function.

Woman's Health Clinic

We realise that women living with disabilities has limited opportunities for wheelchair accessible health care. Within our accessible rooms, we offer services like pap smears, cycle control, family planning and referral to accessible on site bone density and mammograms.

Spasticity Clinic

Together with physical therapist, we develop tailored management plans for managing spasticity related to a variety of underlying conditions. These plans may involve botulinum injections, an intrathecal pump, medication, or referrals for outpatient therapy. The therapy team may also recommend a home program or splinting to support ongoing care.

Seating clinic

We offer comprehensive evaluation, prescription and adjustments of wheelchair seating needs. The team approach includes therapists form several wheelchair suppliers. Patients are offered the opportunity to trial equipment and setup of different suppliers before a final prescription and recommendation is made.
